Page01 · 01:12 Promises

Four things we will never do.

Promises about a product are usually about what it will do for you. These are constraints on us, each one written from something DocSend did. They are the reason the price can stay where it is.

  1. 01

Never take the free plan away, or put a clock on it.

The individual plan is the whole product for one person and it does not expire. No countdown, and no wall at the end of one.

  2. 02

Never switch your analytics off to make you decide.

Who opened it, which pages, for how long: that is the product, and it stays on, on every plan. We do not sell you back the feature you were using to decide whether to pay.

  3. 03

Never meter something that costs us nothing, like a signature.

No counter on anything that costs us nothing to run. Limits are on how much stays live, never on what you can make.

  4. 04

Never add a seat at checkout that is not on the pricing page.

The price on this site is the price at checkout. A seat costs what the pricing page says, for every seat, including the fourth one. Nothing is priced by asking us.

Free stays free for individuals. Not a trial, not a funnel, not degraded later.

These are hard rules, not a tone of voice. A change that touches one of them does not ship without a person on our side signing off, and it does not ship quietly.

Page02 · 00:38 Every product

And four more, on every product we build.

StampSend runs on the same platform as Slate. These four hold on all of it.

  • Never charge extra for a summary of a thing you just made. No AI tier, on any product, ever.
  • Never convert free seats into paid seats. A seat granted free stays free. A plan change never reclassifies the people already on it.
  • Never ship a feature nobody asked for and reprice around it. Every shipped feature traces to a named request. The Close-the-gap form is the only intake for scope.
  • Never make the free plan worse to move you up a tier. Free-tier limits can loosen. They never tighten.

Always half of DocSend Standard.

Not a launch promotion. If Dropbox cuts DocSend's price, we cut ours. The named incumbent, its own list prices, the date we read them off its pricing page and the sources are on the pricing page. StampSend is not affiliated with DocSend or Dropbox.
